Fall Fishing, The Ultimate Bait By Brock Hileman The fall in Wyoming is the best season for most of its residents. The mornings are crisp and the day’s mild. The Elk are bugling, the antelope are playing and the fishing is fantastic. If you really want to get the most from a fishing trip the secret is grasshoppers. While conventional fishing tactics perform great during the early mornings and evenings a grasshopper will pull a monster Brown trout out from hiding whenever it is presented. It’s really quite amazing the power a grasshopper has over trout, it’s as if it is an addiction. Of coarse half the fun is catching the hopper itself. Don’t take my word for it I recommend testing this statement for your self. I strongly suggest you throw the small ones back because while your friends are happily filling their creel limits you will be throwing several limits back.
