Control Logix Add On Instructions By Brock Hileman The Allen Bradley Control Logix line has a feature that speeds up the development time and lowers development costs. It has an "Add On Instruction" feature that allows existing and tested ladder logic to be bundled up into a module that can be imported into new projects. The benefit of this feature is reusing field verified code thereby reducing debugging expenses. Its quite a cost saver. Contributor's Note Utilizing Add On Instructions is a common practice at my workplace.
